Job Title: Teaching Assistant

Salary: £85.50 - £92.63 per day

Do you have experience supporting pupils with ALN or a desire to develop your skills in this area?
TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming primary school in Chepstow that is committed to ensuring every child feels valued and respected. The school provides a nurturing and motivating environment where pupils are encouraged to thrive academically, socially and emotionally.
The school is looking to appoint a full-time Teaching Assistant on a long-term basis from September. The successful Teaching Assistant will work closely with class teachers to support pupils across the primary age range, with ALN experience being desirable to provide additional support where needed and help create an inclusive learning environment.
The successful Teaching Assistant will have:
- A minimum of 6 months' experience working within a UK school
- Experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary setting
- ALN experience is desirable
- A positive and proactive attitude towards supporting children's learning
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A caring, patient and nurturing approach
