Job Title: Primary Teaching Assistant

Salary: £90 - £105 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream primary school in Gillingham that is looking to appoint a dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant. The school values energetic, passionate and driven educators who are committed to making a difference in children's lives and creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
The school is looking to take on a Primary Teaching Assistant on a part-time, short-term basis, with the potential to become a long-term position for the right candidate. The successful Primary Teaching Assistant will support pupils with SEND alongside providing general classroom assistance, working closely with teachers to encourage pupil engagement, independence and academic progress.
The successful Primary Teaching Assistant will have:
Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable)
Experience supporting children with SEND in a mainstream primary school
Experience providing classroom support across the primary curriculum
A good understanding of safeguarding and supporting children's individual learning needs
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
An energetic, patient and enthusiastic approach with a genuine passion for helping children succeed
