Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Location: Salford

Salary: £92.63 - £115 per day
Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting pupils with SEND?
Do you have experience providing 1-2-1 support for children with Autism / ASD?
Are you patient, resilient and confident supporting a pupil throughout the school day?
TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream Primary School in Salford that has received a ‘Good’ OFSTED rating. The school provides a welcoming and supportive environment with a strong focus on inclusion and helping every pupil reach their potential.
The school is looking to take on a Teaching Assistant on a long-term, full-time basis from November. The successful Teaching Assistant will work 1-2-1 with a Year 6 pupil with Autism / ASD, supporting their learning, engagement, emotional regulation and access to the wider curriculum.
The successful Teaching Assistant will have:
• A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable
• Experience working with children in a Primary School setting
• Experience supporting children with Autism / ASD
• Experience providing 1-2-1 SEND support
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills
• A patient, caring and adaptable approach
