Pay: £92.63 - £110 per day
Are you an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding long-term opportunity?
We are currently recruiting for a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join a specialist setting in Sale from September 2026. The successful candidate will work closely with individuals with Autism and PMLD, providing tailored support to help them access learning and develop their independence.
The Role:
Provide high-quality support to pupils with SEND
Work closely with individuals with Autism and PMLD
Support pupils with their learning, communication and personal development
Promote independence and encourage positive engagement
Assist with managing individual needs and behaviours
Work collaboratively with teachers and the wider support team
Create a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment
The Ideal Candidate:
Previous experience working in a UK SEND setting is essential
Experience supporting individuals with Autism and PMLD is highly desirable
Patient, empathetic and nurturing approach
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Confident supporting pupils with complex needs
Reliable, resilient and committed to supporting children's development
