Teaching Assistant – Salford

Salary: £92.63 - £110 per day

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive Primary school in Salford. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children's learning and development in a positive educational environment.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons across the curriculum.

• Work with individual pupils and small groups to promote learning and progress.

• Encourage positive behaviour and help create an inclusive classroom environment.

• Assist with classroom preparation and resource organisation.

• Support pupils with a range of learning needs, ensuring they can access the curriculum effectively.

Requirements

Essential:

• Experience working in a UK school as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar classroom support role.

• A positive, proactive attitude and excellent communication skills.

• The ability to build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.

• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.

Desirable:

• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
