TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream primary school in Nottingham who are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant. The school provides a supportive learning environment where pupils are encouraged to develop academically and personally.

The school is looking to take on a Teaching Assistant on a part-time basis from September, supporting pupils across Key Stage 1 / KS1 and Key Stage 2 / KS2. The successful Teaching Assistant will work closely with the class teacher, support pupils with their learning, assist with classroom activities and help maintain a positive and productive learning environment.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent experience
• Experience working with children within a primary school setting
• Experience supporting pupils across KS1 and KS2
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Good behaviour management skills
• A positive, patient and adaptable approach
