Job Title: Teaching Assistant

Salary: £92.63 - £110 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream primary school based in Rotherham, who are looking to appoint a dedicated Teaching Assistant. The school provides a primary education setting where pupils can develop their learning, confidence and independence.
The school is looking to take on a Teaching Assistant on a full-time, long-term basis, starting as soon as possible. The successful Teaching Assistant will be working across the primary school, providing general classroom support alongside 1:1 assistance for pupils who require additional guidance, helping with learning activities, classroom engagement and individual development.
The successful Teaching Assistant will have:
A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable)
Experience working with children in a primary school setting
Experience providing 1:1 support and assisting with classroom activities
A good understanding of the primary curriculum and classroom expectations
Strong communication and behaviour management skills
A positive, patient and adaptable approach to supporting children's learning
