Salary: £92.63 - £110 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream Primary School based in Sheffield, who are looking to appoint a dedicated Teaching Assistant. The school provides a primary education setting where the successful applicant will have the opportunity to support children's learning, confidence and development.
The school is looking to take on a Teaching Assistant on a long-term basis, with both full-time and part-time opportunities available. The successful Teaching Assistant will be supporting pupils across Key Stage 1 / KS1 and Key Stage 2 / KS2, providing general classroom assistance and 1:1 support, working closely with class teachers to deliver engaging learning activities and help pupils achieve their individual learning goals.
The successful Teaching Assistant will have:
Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification desirable
Experience working with children in a mainstream Primary School setting
Experience supporting pupils across KS1 and KS2
Confidence providing 1:1 support to pupils with varying learning needs
Strong communication and behaviour management skills
A patient, caring and adaptable approach with a positive 'can-do' attitude
