TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming primary school in Worksop with a positive OFSTED rating, an established forest school and an excellent team of staff. The school provides a supportive environment where pupils are encouraged to develop confidence, independence and a positive attitude towards learning.
The school is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant on a permanent basis, with a flexible start date available for the right candidate. The successful Teaching Assistant will support pupils across Key Stage 1 / KS1 and Key Stage 2 / KS2 through classroom activities, small-group work and individual support, while working closely with teachers to promote progress and positive behaviour.
The successful Teaching Assistant will have:
• A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable
• Previous experience supporting children in a primary school setting
• Experience working with pupils across KS1 and KS2
• Strong communication and behaviour-management skills
• A patient, supportive and adaptable approach
• The ability to travel reliably to Worksop
