The school provides a rage of rich educational experiences and prepares the pupils to become responsible bilingual individuals that respect each other, their peers and their environment. The primary want to empower their pupils with self-belief, aspiration and positivity to achieve and succeed in life and the staff mirror this within their support.

The primary school are looking to take on a full time, experienced Teaching Assistant who’s knowledgeable in their role and is able to contribute to a stimulating learning style alongside the classroom teacher. To be able to speak and communicate fluently in the Welsh language is a non-negotiable for this role to enhance the Welsh ethos within the school. You will be working 5 days a week within the foundation phase supporting children with their numeracy and literacy skills.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• A Teaching Assistant/Childcare qualification OR at least 6 months experience working with children
• Fluent verbal and written Welsh
• Excellent communication and organisation skills
• Ability to build valued and trusted relationships with students
• A can-do, positive attitude and approach to their work
• Patience and ability to remain calm under stressful situations
