TeacherActive are recruiting Welsh-speaking Cover Supervisors to support a fantastic school in Llanelli.

We have built a strong relationship with the school and are proud to support them with their staffing needs. This is a great opportunity to become a familiar and valued member of the school community, with flexible work available around your availability.

The Role

• Supervise classes during short-term teacher absences
• Deliver pre-prepared work and ensure pupils remain engaged
• Support pupils with their learning where appropriate
• Maintain a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment
• Build strong relationships with pupils and school staff
• Follow school policies and procedures
• Provide reliable and consistent support to the school
• Communicate confidently with pupils and staff through the medium of Welsh

What We're Looking For

✅ Welsh-speaking
✅ Experience working with children or young people
✅ Confident managing a classroom
✅ Strong communication and relationship-building skills
✅ Reliable, professional and adaptable approach
✅ Ability to work independently and use initiative
✅ Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
