Job Title: Welsh Medium Learning Support Assistant

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a warm and welcoming one-form entry Welsh-medium primary school in Cardiff to recruit a Welsh Medium Learning Support Assistant. The school prides itself on creating a nurturing environment where every child is encouraged to thrive academically, socially and emotionally.
The school is looking to appoint a full-time Welsh Medium Learning Support Assistant on a temporary contract starting in September. The successful Welsh Medium Learning Support Assistant will provide 1:1 support for identified pupils while also assisting with general classroom duties, working closely with the class teacher to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
The successful Welsh Medium Learning Support Assistant will have:
Fluent Welsh language skills
Experience working as a Learning Support Assistant within a primary school
Experience supporting children on a 1:1 basis
A positive and proactive approach to supporting learning
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A caring, patient and adaptable attitude
