TeacherActive is proud to be working with a small, Welsh-medium primary school situated in a village in Carmarthenshire, who are looking to appoint a Welsh Speaking Primary Teacher. This village school offers a smaller primary school environment where Welsh language education is at the heart of the learning experience.

The school is looking to take on an enthusiastic Welsh Speaking Primary Teacher from January 2027 on a long-term basis, working with pupils across Key Stage 2 / KS2. The successful Welsh Speaking Primary Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons through the medium of Welsh, assessing pupil progress and creating a positive learning environment that supports pupils' academic and personal development.

The successful Welsh Speaking Primary Teacher will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status / QTS (NQTs are also welcome to apply)

• Fluency in the Welsh language, with the ability to confidently teach through the medium of Welsh

• Experience teaching within a primary school setting, ideally across Key Stage 2 / KS2

• Sound knowledge and understanding of the Curriculum for Wales

• Excellent classroom management and strong communication skills

• A positive, adaptable and enthusiastic approach to teaching and learning
