TeacherActive is proud to be working with mainstream Welsh-medium primary schools across the Vale of Glamorgan and Cardiff who are looking for dedicated Teaching Assistants. The schools are looking for individuals who are passionate about supporting children to thrive, develop and build their confidence through the medium of Welsh.

The schools are looking to take on full-time Teaching Assistants on a long-term basis, providing support across the classroom or working with individual pupils on a 1-to-1 basis. The successful Teaching Assistant will be a fluent Welsh speaker, with knowledge or first-hand experience of supporting children with ALN being beneficial.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• Fluency in Welsh, with the confidence to communicate effectively in a Welsh-medium setting
• Experience supporting children within a primary school or similar setting
• Knowledge or first-hand experience of supporting children with ALN is beneficial
• A positive and supportive approach to working with children
• A passion for helping pupils thrive and develop
• Adaptability when providing whole-class and 1-to-1 support
