Salary: £172.89 - £220 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream secondary school in the Newport area who are looking to appoint a Welsh Teacher. The school is committed to delivering high-quality education within a welcoming and inclusive environment, encouraging students to develop confidence, independence and a passion for learning.

The school is looking to take on a dedicated Welsh Teacher on a long-term temporary basis with an immediate start available. The successful Welsh Teacher will be responsible for teaching Welsh across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, planning and delivering engaging lessons, monitoring student progress and contributing positively to the wider school community.

The successful Welsh Teacher will have:

• QTS (NQTs are also encouraged to apply)

• Experience teaching Welsh within a UK secondary school

• Strong knowledge of the Welsh curriculum up to Key Stage 4

• Excellent classroom management skills

• The ability to plan and deliver engaging Welsh lessons

• A positive, adaptable and enthusiastic approach to teaching
