We are recruiting on behalf of our partner schools for enthusiastic Welsh Speaking Teaching Assistants who are committed to creating engaging learning environments and support pupils to reach their full potential through the medium of Welsh.

We are looking for a Welsh Speaking Teaching Assistant to work on a part-time, casual and temporary basis across a variety of Welsh-medium primary schools throughout the Vale of Glamorgan. The successful Welsh Speaking Teaching Assistant will work closely with class teachers to support pupils across a range of year groups, promote positive behaviour, deliver small group interventions where required and help create an engaging and inclusive learning environment.

The successful Welsh Speaking Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience working with children in a school or educational setting
• A minimum of a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant childcare qualification is desirable
• Fluent Welsh language skills, both spoken and written
• A positive and enthusiastic approach to supporting teaching and learning
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to adapt quickly and work confidently across different Welsh-medium schools
