December 2004 marked 20 years since TeacherActive opened its doors for the first time. From then, we have supported thousands of schools, nurseries, colleges/sixth forms, SEND, residential and adult learning settings to thrive by connecting them with educators and staff who are empowered to be the best they can be.
A lot can change in 20 years. As a society, we’ve gone from flip phones and baggy jeans to velour tracksuits and questionable haircuts. The teaching landscape has also evolved, including changes to legislation and adapting to COVID-19. We remain proud to have offered the same world-class service to our educators and clients throughout these two decades.
As we celebrate this milestone, we’ve reviewed how we have been inspiring futures since 2004 and would love to hear from you, read on to find out more.
For educators
We inspire the futures of our valued education staff by placing them in the right roles that enhance their skills, enabling them to have rewarding, long-lasting careers in education. This is accelerated with unique CPD tailored to education via our platform My-Progression, which offers free CPD content weekly to keep education careers in motion.
For schools
We inspire schools by providing the best educators nationwide, in turn supporting children and young people in our client’s care to help them become the best version of themselves. Providing an?excellent education sets pupils and learners up with the skills and tools they need for life. We share this responsibility by ensuring our staff are vetted for safeguarding and have the skills and information they need to deliver education that inspires the next generation.
For our community of recruiters and support staff
We would be nothing without the TeacherActive community made up of recruiters and support staff. We inspire them to continue to be the best they can be through bespoke training to help them reach new heights in their careers. We created bespoke training packages such as The Academy, the Leadership Development Group, the Advanced Training Group and the Senior Leadership Summit, tailoring development packages for every person to thrive. We also created Empower, our diversity and inclusion initiative that drives forward business and policy change, gives support for and celebrates diversity and inclusion in the recruitment industry and beyond.
As a community, we want to inspire the futures of many by fundraising and supporting charities, such as the 24 we supported over the last academic year. Thanks to the spirit of our community, we can help children and adults live inspiring and fulfilled lives through your charity efforts. Over the last academic year, we raised £25,450 which adds to our total of over £60,000 raised in total.
